The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in power within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to begin their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, attacking the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the group reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to Timmony in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
